Almand Joys: Mother's Day & Mommy's B-Day....

For Mother's Day, we went to my parent's/brother's church for Sunday morning services. My cutest little niece, Brailyn, was being dedicated that morning. It was a really special service! Here is the picture of all of us together.

We ate lunch with my folks and then went to Jennifer's parent's church that evening. Jennifer sang at both services and did an AWESOME job, as always! She's such a talented lady!

Madilyn got Jennifer two new Pandora charms for her bracelet. One was called "Everlasting Love" and had a lot of hearts on it. The other one was Madilyn's birthstone. Very fitting for Mother's Day, don't you think?

Mommy's B-Day was Monday. So we had a Family Fun Day!! We headed to Little Rock to do a little shopping and to go the zoo. Well, we ended up doing a LOT of shopping and no zoo, but we had fun anyway!

We had a picnic in the park outside the zoo....before we decided not to go. Madilyn had fun looking at/talking to/trying to touch the geese! :)

Then, a very nice security guard came by and told us they were having snake problems and Madilyn might not need to be too close to the water. Boy, was he right!!

So, needless to say, we got out of there ASAP! But, not before we got this DARLING picture of Mommy and Madi! :)

For her birthday, Jennifer got a Cricut machine. (I posted a link because I can't really describe it...so, look it up to see what it is...) She got that from me, Madilyn, her mom and dad, and my mom and dad. They're a little pricey....but she loves it!! She's already crafty, but this is really going to help her a lot! :)

In March, we purchased annual passes for Garvan Gardens here in Hot Springs. If you saw the tulip pictures, you'll remember that's where we were. Anyway....Madilyn LOVES being outside, so yesterday, we went with our friends Clint and Crystal and, of course, Madilyn's betrothed, Ryan. Clint got several pictures, but I didn't get many good ones. Here are a few:
