Easter 2010

We had such a wonderful Easter celebrating our risen Savior! On Friday, we headed to Garvan Gardens to check out the beautiful tulips and get some pictures. Our little girl LOVES being outdoors!

On Saturday and Sunday we presented our Passion Play at church. It was an absolutely amazing presentation of the life of Jesus, and we really believe Christ was glorified by the production. No pictures of that...you'll just have to come see it yourself next year! :)

On Sunday morning the Easter bunny visited Madi and brought her 2 books, a Minnie Mouse DVD, and a bowling set. Of course, the only thing Madi really cared about was the plastic eggs...she'd sit for several minutes opening and closing them and saying "egg".

Then we, of course, got dressed up in our new clothes and went to church. Didn't our baby girl look precious in her Easter dress?

And here is our attempt at getting a family picture before heading to church. As you can tell...not so successful! Little Miss Madi was wanting to be down and playing with her new toys, not wasting time taking pictures. :)

After church we had both sets of parents/grandparents/greatgrandparents over for lunch. We had seasoned pork tenderloin, green bean casserole, salad, macaroni, rolls, strawberry cake, and chocolate pie for our meal. It was delicious! Andy and I have both been dieting, so splurging a little yesterday was GREAT! I was too busy being mommy/hostess to get any pictures, but we really had a wonderful time with our families.

Last night we presented our Passion Play again at church and our families went with us to see it. A perfect ending to a wonderful day! We feel so blessed to get to spend time with our families and to serve a RISEN Savior!
