Dallas Vacation - Part 1

We just arrived back home from a great vacation to Dallas! Be warned...many pictures to follow. :)

We arrived at the hotel Saturday about 5:15 or so. This is Madi checking out our hotel room! She loved it!
Ready to make a quick trip out for supper and a Wal-Mart run. She had to take "baby Shelly" with us!
Playing some ball with Daddy...she's learning how to catch and throw. Such a big girl!

Posing for a picture with Mommy at Chick-Fil-A. She looks cute, but do I look goofy or what?!?!

Some late-evening swimming. She loved jumping off of the side to her daddy! Too bad that the pool was more like lukewarm bath water (the temp was over 100 everyday we were there!) We still enjoyed it though!
A GREAT picture of Madi and Andy! Good pictures are few and far between with our precious 2-yr-old, so we get pretty excited when we finally get a good one! ;)
On Sunday morning, we got up and went to Prestonwood BC for worship. We had a WONDERFUL time worshipping with them! The church is huge, but everyone is so friendly and inviting, it had the feel of a "small-town" church. We absolutely loved the orchestra, choir, and praise team, and the preaching was dynamically powerful too!

After church, we headed to NorthPark mall to walk around for a bit. They have a neat water feature where there are ducks and turtles. Madi loved watching them!

We ate lunch at Maggiano's Italian Grill (YUMMY!). Madi and Daddy are coloring together. :)

Then we headed down to the Disney store! Madi loved the princess room! You can't tell from these pictures, but the "magic" mirror lights up and shows a video when you wave a wand in front of it. So cool!

She was a little overwhelmed and running around like crazy!

Playing in the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse!
We then headed to the hotel for a nap (which didn't end up happening, but thats okay), supper, and an evening swim.

This pretty much sums up our first couple of days of vacation...stay tuned for part 2 soon!

Love all the pictures!! It looks like you all definitely had a good time. That Disney store was nearly as good to a 2 year old as DisneyWorld!!
