Vacation - Part 2

On Monday morning, we headed to the Dallas Children's Museum that was housed in the Museum of Nature and Sciences. We had a bawl! I'll let the pictures speak for themselves!

It was a great day at the museum! We headed to the Galleria that evening to walk around and "window-shop". Then we hit the sack early because we were pooped! We got up the next morning and did this...

This was such a fun, cheap morning at the splashpad and park! It was definitely hot (108 degrees), but the water cooled us off, and Madi had a blast! We all went back to the hotel, played a little, and took a great nap!

After our nap, we headed to the Grapevine Mills Mall for some fun! We spent the afternoon/evening shopping and then stopped in at Rainforest Cafe for supper! Madi loved all of the animals!

This was what I got when I asked her to smile and say "cheese"!

Madi got to ride the carousel after supper and loved it!

We made another stop at the Disney store, and out of all of the cute Disney animals that she could have, she picked out Phineas, Ferb, Candice, and Perry the Platypus! She spent a good deal of time in front of the mirror in our hotel playing with the animals.

She even wanted to sleep with all of them!

On Wednesday morning, we got up and went to the SeaLife Aquarium in the mall. It had only been open one day and was very nice and fun, but extremely crowded and a little overpriced. But we still had fun seeing some cool sea animals! Unfortunately, they didn't allow pictures to be taken. :(
We checked out the Bass Pro Shop after the aquarium. Madi enjoyed seeing all of the animals on display there. She really liked this shark until she "sat" in his mouth and he shifted slightly! She jumped up, scared to death, and came running to me! Poor baby!

On Thursday morning, we got up and did a little shopping and then headed home. Didn't Madi Kaye look so precious in her pigtails?!?

We really had a great 2nd vacation as a family! We were a little nervous about travelling with Madi and her "moods" sometimes, but overall, she was very good, and we had a great time! She loves to be "going and doing", so she enjoyed it all! We look forward to many more fun trips together!
