Our First Double Decker Festival

Today we ventured out to experience the famous Double Decker Festival here in Oxford!  Despite the hot and muggy weather and TONS of people, we really had a good time!
A lot of people were crowded in the square, looking at all of the cool art exhibits and activities!

Stopping for a lunch "picnic"

Two of my favorite people!

Madi painted a suncatcher...

and got some alien antennae!

Showing off her antennae
Our church is a block down from the square, and they always make  it a point to have some kind of activity/presentation going on each year to share the gospel with the crowds!  This year they had professional BMX bikers come in to do a show and then share the gospel!  5 people accepted Christ at the first presentation, and hopefully more were saved at the later show! I praise God that we are involved in a church that has a heart for the lost!
They did a lot of AWESOME tricks that drew a big crowd!

Look closely and you'll see the bike in mid-air...jumping over 10 guys lying on the ground!  WOW!
It's been a very fun day experiencing yet another cool event in Oxford!
