Update on Baby Almand

Jennifer had another doctor appointment today. I have been to all of the appointments until today - I had to miss because of work. At our last appointment two weeks ago, they tried to hear the heartbeat and couldn't find it. We began to get a little concerned; that's why the doctor rushed the first ultrasound. But, as you can tell from the previous post, everything was just fine. At today's appointment, they found the heartbeat almost immediately. It was beating at 134 beats per minute - that concerned Jennifer initially because it was 170 bpm at the ultrasound. But, the nurse told her it could range from 120 to 160 at the baby's age now. It just probably wasn't moving around a whole lot at the time. So, everything looks great!!

Sunday night after church, we went over to Clint and Crystal's house (our best friends from church) to watch a movie. While we were there, we also took the Drano test. If you haven't heard about the Drano test, it supposedly tells you the gender of the baby. We have researched it online and have found that there's no proof that it's true; however, it correctly predicted Clint and Crystal's baby (Ryan Coke, due October 31) and has worked on everybody we've talked to about it. So - the results - - - it's gonna be a boy! Again, this is not conclusive, but it has worked for others. We heard of another test that we found online which also predicted a boy. So, who knows? :)

Our camera is currently not working - we hope to get working soon and put some more pictures on here!

Thanks for reading!
