Two!

Our sweet little girl is two today! WOW! In some ways it seems like just yesterday we held our precious newborn blue-eyed girl in our arms for the first time, but then in other ways it seems like she has grown so much that it's hard to remember her being that little!

Andy had to work today (but is off tomorrow for some fun family time!), so I asked Madi what she wanted to do today for her birthday. Since we've been cooped up for most of the week, we were going to make the most of today! She said she wanted to go to her favorite place...the bookstore! So we packed up and headed to the bookstore where we read several books and played with all of the stuffed animals. She LOVES Books-A-Million...it's like a toystore for her! :)

We then headed to Chick-Fil-A for lunch (or "Chicken-Play" as Madi calls it!). As soon as we walked in the door she saw the play area and kept begging to go play, but I told her we had to eat lunch first and then we could play. During our meal, she would glance over at the play area and then turn around and say, "Lunch first" and eat some more bites! She's definitely her daddy's (and mommy's) girl because she has to do things in order! :) I didn't get any pictures from Chick-Fil-A, but we had a good time eating and playing!

We love our little darling SO much, and we are just amazed by how much she has learned and grown in the past two years! We feel so blessed to call her "ours"! We pray that she will continue to grow and be a sweet young lady who loves her family and friends, but most importantly loves her heavenly Father! We thank Him daily for her, and we continue to see His blessings in our lives!
