Today has been a big day for us. I just can't believe that our baby girl is 6 months old today! It really feels like we just brought her home from the hospital yesterday. Everybody always told us how fast time would fly as she grows, and I'm really beginning to understand what they were saying.
We had our 6-month well visit today, and the doctor confirmed what we thought...Madi is perfect in every way! She is developmentally right on track, and her height, weight, and head circumference are right at the 50th percentile. We had to wait to see the dr. for almost 1 1/2 hours, and Madi was an angel the whole time!
Dr. Slay gave us the "go-ahead" to begin baby food, so tonight Madi had her first taste of green beans! Her expressions on the first few bites were priceless, and she gagged a few times as she was eating them, but she ate every bit of them and fussed when we were finished! I hope she takes after me and likes most vegetables, unlike her picky daddy! :)
