A Day in the Life of an ACTIVE 10-Month Old

Well, we are finally getting well around here! Poor Madi has had a rough week with this yucky cold and ear infection, but things finally seem to be getting back to normal. Well...I guess I should say a "new" normal...she is getting into EVERYTHING these days! Everybody has always said that when your child becomes mobile, your life changes completely. Well, Madi began crawling over a month ago, but she didn't do it a whole lot. She'd just crawl if there was a toy out of her reach. However, since we've been home from our Christmas travels, it is like she has suddenly realized that the house is "her domain", and she manages to crawl and get into everything! It is a little tiresome for mommy and daddy sometimes, but also so much fun to see what she'll discover next! Here's a little look into what our time looks like these days...

Eating...sometimes she loves it, sometimes she hates it!

Looking out of the window at Gracie

Playing in the ottoman/toy box (Yes, we had to go out and buy an ottoman with some of our Christmas money to hold all of her toys!)

Crawling after Mommy into the kitchen

Playing in the bath...with Gracie or her toys

Pulling the photo album off of the shelf and looking at her baby pictures...she loves it!

Pulling up on the couch...or dining room chairs...or piano bench...or Gracie's kennel...pretty much any piece of furniture she can find!

Showing off her "toothies"!

"Hmmm...this looks interesting..."

Going for the gold

"I GOT IT!"

Tickle Time with Daddy!

Riding on her toy around the house (which wears mommy out!) :)

She is just a joy and a blessing to us! She may keep us "hopping", but we enjoy every minute we have with her! We thank God daily for blessing us with such a sweet baby girl!
