Fantastic Easter!

We have had a WONDERFUL Easter weekend! After our exciting Easter egg hunt on Friday evening, we spent a lazy day at home on Saturday. We dyed some Easter eggs...

And hunted them outside for a little while!

Then, on Sunday, we woke up early and saw what the Easter bunny brought!

After we checked out our basket, we did the Resurrection eggs as a new family tradition. Madi sat so still and opened each egg, listening and answering questions the whole time! By the end she could tell me what Jesus did for us (died on cross) and where He went after that (rose again to "heaben"!). I love her simple understanding of the Gospel!

Then we headed to church where we worshipped our risen Savior! We had great Easter services! After them, we came home and tried to get some quick pictures in our Easter attire. With a wound-up two-year-old??? HA! These were the final products...

But this is what is was like most of the time! Some little girl was wanting to twirl and dance in her dress instead of posing for a picture!

We then headed to Pine Bluff where we spent a relaxing evening with my parents. We had a lot of fun with them, but unfortunately we didn't take any pictures. Madi Kaye was an angel all day long despite some major sleep deprivation (she has double ear infections and only had a 15 min nap!), and we couldn't have asked for a more special Easter!
