Playing Catch-Up

Make sure you read the post below this to hear all about Madi's big 3-year-old birthday bash!
I know we went about 4 months without posting anything, so now that I'm on bedrest and am looking for stuff to do, I thought I'd try doing a little "catch-up" so we don't leave too much out. So...here's a recap of our Christmas (only 2 1/2 months late!)
To save time, I'm just going to do pictures and captions. Warning...picture overload!
We began at Neena and Papa Dale's house. We spent the evening of December 23rd with them.
We opened gifts from Jody, Janee, and Brailyn that night. Madi loved her puppies, and Micah got some sweet clothes too!

We then woke up on Christmas Eve morning and opened presents. This is what the living room looked like that morning!
Brailyn usually sleeps a little later than Madi does, so Madi was SOOO excited when Brailyn finally woke up! :)
She was ready to dig in to the gifts!
We spent the rest of the day with them, enjoying visiting and "playing" with our gifts! It was such a fun day! We headed home that evening and got ready for "Santa" at our house the following morning.
Our sweet girl on Christmas morning, ready to check out her "goodies" from Santa!
Look at what Santa brought me!
Checking out her puzzles...
and telling us about her new Strawberry Shortcake movie!
Modeling her Snow White costume!
Opening gifts from Mommy and Daddy. She got the "Candyland" game, and I think that is probably the best gift she got from Christmas. We play it at least 1 time a day around our house!
We then headed to church for a neat worship service with our Center Fork family! I really liked that Christmas fell on Sunday this year because it made it very special to be in God's house celebrating the birth of His Son!
Oh...and one funny story...our Pastor called the kids up to the front to share their favorite Christmas gift they got, and Madi went up there like a big girl. When the mike got to her, Bro. Baxter asked her what she got for Christmas, and she was quick to answer, "Nothing!". The whole church cracked up!

After church, we quickly packed up and headed to Pine Bluff to celebrate with my parents.
A bunch of presents here too! :)
Madi opening her princesses from Gran and Gramps.
And of course, a princess castle for her princesses to live in! What fun!
We spent the rest of Christmas and the following day with them and enjoyed our visit! We then headed pack to Prescott on Tuesday for another Christmas get-together with the Wallers, but we didn't get any pictures there. We really had a great Christmas with our families! It was such a special time!
