The quartet I'm in was invited to record a CD with a Nashville label, the Eddie Crook Company. This past Friday, the 7th, two of us went to listen to the musicians play and record the tracks for our all-original CD. We should record the vocals in mid-January. We're very excited about this! The trip to Nashville was awesome! The musicians were incredible! I've included a few pictures below.

This is from the sound room. You see the mixing board at the bottom left. Across the room, you'll see the drummer practicing. To the right is Eddie Crook. He played the piano for us.
This is the room where everything happened. The drum room is not pictured - it's off the left side of the photo. The room on the far left is where the acoustic guitar was played. Straight ahead is the grand piano. The electric guitar was played in this main room toward the acoustic guitar room. The electric piano is toward the right center. The bass guitar is to the right.
This is Jimmy. He ran the sound and mixed the music. When we left, he asked us to request him to mix our vocals when we came back in January. He seemed to enjoy working with us!

The whole trip was a wonderful experience. When we left, we had the tracks ready. So, we will have our first rehearsal on the new music this coming Wednesday night!
