Appt at the Baby Doctor

We had a doctor's appointment today...and have nothing but good news!! Jennifer gained 4 pounds since our last visit!! :) She thought it was too much, but the doctor was pleased. The doctor measured Jen's belly and Madilyn is growing just fine! We heard her strong heartbeat - 158 beats per minute, which is excellent! Her blood pressure was perfect! So, all is well!

We are going to have to start going weekly, now. The doctor said that Jen's blood pressure is great, but because it went high at the beginning, she wants to monitor it every week now. The doctor is very thorough - and we like that!

We have another ultrasound scheduled in 2 weeks! We can't wait!

We preregistered at the hospital today....wow....getting close!

I took another picture on Sunday - just couldn't pass it up. Jen's such a pretty pregnant lady!

We had an unexpected visit and gift the other night. Jennifer's Uncle Bruce and Aunt Donna came in for a visit from Nashville...also in from St. Louis was her cousin, Raley. So, they and her Aunt Susan, Uncle Mark, cousin Rob, and friends, Forrest and Susan (all from Hot Springs) came by the house. Bruce brought an extraordinary gift for Jen and Madilyn....

This is a 3-foot statue of Hernando de Soto, the founder of Hot Springs! Can you imagine the thrill on Jennifer's face when Bruce brought this in the house? But - sadly, Hernando couldn't stay. Bruce just couldn't part with his $6 bargain! :) (If you can't tell, Bruce is a slight cut-up!)
