Ode to Jody & Janée

Just to change things up a little and show that there are more people in our lives than Madilyn, I have prepared a short poem about our brother and sister-in-law. Let me first tell you briefly about them:

My brother, Jody, is 5 years younger than me. His birthday was just 10 days ago on the 14th. He turned 24. This past June, he got married to Janée Young...well, now it's Almand. She's a year younger than Jody. Her birthday was last month on December 13. They got engaged on December 20 of 2007 - mine and Jennifer's 4th anniversary. Jody works at Farm Credit Services and Janée (pronounced "Juh-NAY") teaches at a preschool where they live.

Siblings (and siblings-in-law) are so special

They brighten up one's day

And two that we have

Are Jody and Janée!

We are blessed to have such siblings

Whose names both begin with "J"

You know who I'm talking about...

Yep, it's Jody and Janée!

An aunt and uncle they'll be

To our sweet Madilyn Kaye

We know they'll be great,

Uncle Jody and Aunt Janée!

So here's to the "J" couple
