We got to head home to Arkansas the first weekend of October for a quick visit! Micah got to spend some precious time with his new cousin, Lainee!
| "Ooh...HAIR! I know what to do with that...PULL IT!" :) |
| Holding hands for the first time. |
Madilyn also LOVED spending time with her "best cousin, Brailyn"! Those were Madi's words as we were on our way there! :)
| They had to take a bath together and then got some lovin' after bath! |
We had a great time with Andy's side of the family and then stopped in Pine Bluff for church and lunch with my parents on the way back. We enjoyed getting to celebrate Caleb's 16th birthday with him, but unfortunately I didn't get any pictures!
Our time with Andy these days is very precious because there's just not a lot of it. We have made Friday nights our "family nights", and that is one of the highlights of our week! This Friday night we went to the Grove to watch the homecoming parade! The parade was a little disappointing, but Madi didn't know any different and had a fun time anyway!
| Madi and Daddy posing in front of a trashcan in the Grove. The tailgating didn't start until later on in the evening, so the only view we had was of the trashcans. :) |
| "You woke me up from my nap for this?" |
| My ever-posing little girl these days! |
| I told her there would probably be cheerleaders (and there weren't...boo), so Madi decided to show us how to cheer for the Rebels! |
| Waiting for it all to start. |
| Our favorite float...with a Wizard of Oz theme! |
We are making memories here and having a good time! It's always good to go home to Arkansas to visit our families, though. We miss them a bunch! Hoping they'll make plans to come visit us sometime soon (hint, hint)! :)
