Happy Easter 2013

We have had a wonderful weekend celebrating our risen Savior!

 

It began on Saturday when we dyed Easter eggs...

 Sunday morning was a little crazy because Andy had to be at church at 7:00, but I managed to get a couple of pics of the kids before we headed to church at 8:45.  I'm pretty proud of myself getting all of us ready and out the door by myself on time!  :)

 We had a WONDERFUL worship service celebrating Christ and his victory over death!  After church, we came home to find that the Easter bunny had made a stop by our house!

 Poor Micah man had not taken a nap in the nursery that morning, so he was sacked out good!  I couldn't get him to "rouse" to check out his goodies!  This picture sums it up...Madi was so excited to show him his stuff, and he stayed sacked out on my shoulder!  :)

 He roused long enough for us to get a family shot (crazy hair and all)! 

 We enjoyed a wonderful Easter lunch and then Micah enjoyed some of his chocolate bunny!  :)  Madi will hopefully get some after supper tonight, if she eats well, which didn't happen at lunch. 

We've had a great Easter here with our little family.  This is our first Easter not being with our parents to celebrate at some point over the weekend, and we definitely miss them a lot today.  :(  But, we've tried to make the most of it and enjoy our time with just our precious kids and each other.  Thank you Lord for your many blessings, but most importantly, the death and resurrection of your perfect Son!
