Madi Kaye has been making some new friends since we moved here! Every afternoon, we anxiously await the sound of the school bus turning around in the cul-de-sac to let us know that Abigail and Tyler, our friends from across the street, are home from school! Madi and Abby play together almost every afternoon and always have a good time!
They are both "artists" and have used up a whole box of sidewalk chalk this fall already! They like to draw a "road" from our house to theirs!
We've also been blessed to meet some more friends that live right down our street and also go to our church. We've had several playdates with Sydney, Ashlyn, and their mommy Mrs. Amy. Since our girls play so well together, Amy asked if we'd be interested in doing a "date night swap" where we watch each other's kids so we can have a date night! I was ALL for this idea!
We kept the girls last night for the first time, and we had a blast! We had a "pizza picnic" in the living room and watched some Garfield...
Then the girls played some dress-up dolls...
and a great game of "Elefun"!
It was a fun evening! We are blessed to be making some sweet friends here. Andy and I also can't wait for our date night in a couple of weeks! :)
