Andy Is Victorious!

The 2+ week battle, little ole me vs. the big Sears corporation, finally ended today. And I WON! (I will spare details....but see me if you'd like to know the whole story. Jennifer says I write too much detail!) You know from reading that our washing machine (purchased Nov 2008) stopped working. Technician comes out, orders a part....4 days later, WRONG part comes in. Tech then orders a new part....3 days later (yesterday), ANOTHER WRONG part comes in. So - I called Sears and forevermore griped them out! I did NOT use ugly words...but I did get loud and irritated. I told them they would have a working washing machine in my house tomorrow...they either had to fix the one I had by going to the end of the earth to get the RIGHT part and come fix it or they would replace my washing machine...but they were doing SOMETHING TOMORROW! He said that Sears NEVER replaces anything unless it has been serviced 4 times in the last 12 months. So, I got louder (again, for more details, let me know...it's quite funny!). I asked to speak to his supervisor. He came back and said the supervisor approved a brand new machine to replace ours! :) ANDY WINS! ANDY WINS! Below is a picture of it....it may not mean much to you, but it is a personal triumph!

And now to more important matters....our sweet little baby girl! :) She's been doing SO good for us while Jennifer has been laid up from her surgery. She's had her fussy moments, but what 4 month old doesn't? :) Here are a couple of pictures from the past several days.

Madilyn has found her feet!! She loves to put them in her mouth, especially during bath time or when we're trying to change her diaper!

She is really beginning to like her exersaucer, too. She has been sitting in it for a few weeks now, but she's getting to where she'll play with all the toys now. She's a curious little girl! This picture is from today. She's growing so fast! That's a new onesie that Papa Dale and Neena got her a while back...and she can now fit in it!! Her 6 month sleepers are also fitting her pretty good now.

Jennifer is doing GREAT! She still hurts from time to time, but she's weaned herself off the pain medicine and she's getting around almost back to normal. She wouldn't let me take a picture.... :)

I got my truck from the shop today. It's all better - and it only cost $21.06! What a relief! The part that we got last week was around $18, so I got my truck repaired for under $40! Whew!!

So....after the craziness that was last week, I now have a workable truck, washing machine, and wife! :) Maybe life will get back to normal....well, as normal as it can be with a 4 month old!! :) But, I wouldn't have it any other way!!!!!
